Hanna and John’s wedding at Canoe restaurant downtown Toronto is one you can so easily fall in love with. They were able to put their personality and personal touches and mix it with a modern and elegant style of Canoe. The end result was a day that was so truly them 54 floors above Toronto!
The day started with getting ready pictures at another Toronto landmark – Shangri-la hotel, one of our favorite local five-star hotels. We’ve shot here on numerous occasions but it was first time shooting at the Garden suite, named for the garden terrace overlooking the city. It features vintage wallpaper with icy hues, a signature wicker hanging chair and faux fur accents. It’s very pretty and photogenic place, definitely recommend for getting ready wedding pictures.
Next we hit the streets of Toronto, shooting multiple locations including Osgoode Hall, 101 King West Hotel and the couple’s fav coffee shop – Dineen Coffee Shop. After the wedding photoshoot we headed straight to Canoe restaurant, which is located on Wellington street downtown Toronto.
Canoe restaurant is one of the wedding venues that takes weddings to new heights – literally 54 floors above Toronto. Between breathtaking views, amazing sunsets and twinkling city lights, where earthy tones and modern romance intersect, this has to be one of the coolest places to host a modern wedding.
The rest of the day, including the onsite wedding ceremony was as spectacular as anyone can imagine. From amazing food and service provided by the stuff. To the great atmosphere, crazy dance party and fun photobooth at the end. Here is the story of Hanna and John’s wedding through lenses of our Toronto wedding photographers.
